I made this little book 'I Love You Ugly' looking at how to continue images from inside the book to the front and back covers.  I used a concertina style folding with hard covers in contrasting papers and used fine liner for the illustrations.

After 'I Love You Ugly' i made this book with the similar style of continuing the illustrations onto the front and back covers.  The images are based on a trip to the South of France, from sketches and photos.  I used watercolour paints and fine liners.

Travel Sketchbook

I've been keeping a little sketchbook with me in my general day to day life and when i have a minute and the view is appealing I record it in the form of a sketch in this sketchbook.  At the moment they are all done using an ink brush pen.

Lou's Hair

This is a little book that developed over a cup of tea.  I used it to help me with facial expressions and also the use of collage in my work.  It's still in progress!
